Burning Man
At one of the most important festivals in the world, in the Nevada desert, 70,000 people create countless artistic installations: a cosmic carnival of light and fire. I attended Burning Man in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2011. As a photographer of tribal traditions, for a whole week, I documented this contemporary tribe experiencing truly existential ecstasy.
