Peru, Sacred Valley - 2015


I have the honor of presenting the work of my students completed during the documentary photography workshop in the Sacred Valley of Peru in 2015. The results are wonderful and, once again, I am more than satisfied and proud of their work. Many of these students had no experience in photography before the workshop. Their results show that if you really want to learn and grow in this blessed art of documentary photography, you can do it. The pictures speak for themselves.

Peru 2015, 2016 & 2017

Peru is a mystical travel destination: From the beautiful colonial of Cuzco, to the incredible local people and their traditions with the Sacred Valley surrounded by the Andes. Peru is the place to incredible and magical photo opportunities.

Andean history comes alive in Cuzco: Quechua speaking descendants of the ancient Incas fill the streets and markets and indigenous people culture in colorful dress move busily back and forth across the plazas.

The beautiful Sacred Valley is home to the lofty Inca citadels of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, also home to bustling Indian markets and charming Andean villages.

You’ll come away from this trip with the experience of a lifetime and you will develop your photographic skills and create an impressive portfolio that not only captures the mystical remains of the Incas, but also, most importantly, today’s everyday lives of the Peruvian people.
